“左印”直接源于英文Drawing的发音、取其“绘画”之意。“左印”又是从“左岸”和“篆印”两词中各取一字组合构成，“左岸”为法国巴黎著名的文化名流聚集社区，毕加索等大艺术家曾在此流连。
“篆印”则代表中国传统艺术。“左岸”和“篆印”的结合寓意“左印”对中西方优秀艺术传统的尊重和继承、是具有全球视野的现代少儿美术教育本土品牌。“左印”的英文组合标志“Fun Drawing”代表少儿美术“快乐绘画、绘画快乐”的特质。
"ZuoYin" is originated from the English word "drawing". "Zuo" means Paris' Left Bank (Rive Gauche), "Yin" means Chinese traditional art "ZhuanYin".
